      The short version: mooves does its work entirely on your device. There's no account system, no server that receives your data, and your videos never leave your phone. We collect no personal data.
    

Data We Collect

None. mooves has no sign-up, no login, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not collect, transmit, store on our servers, or share any personal information about you.

Your Videos and Audio

To analyze a dance, mooves reads a video you record or choose from your device. The video, its audio track, and the body-pose data extracted from it are processed locally on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere. Temporary working files created during analysis are deleted from your device when the analysis finishes.

Permissions We Use

Camera — only if you choose to record a clip in the app. Captured video stays on your device.
Microphone — to capture the music while recording, so your moves can be matched to the beat. Audio stays on your device.
Photos / media / storage — to let you pick an existing video to analyze.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings. mooves does not request location, contacts, or any advertising identifier.

Third-Party Services

mooves uses Google's on-device ML Kit pose-detection library to find the position of your body in each video frame. ML Kit runs entirely on your device — it does not send your video, audio, images, body-pose data, or any other personal data off the device or to Google. The app is distributed through the app stores; your download and any optional purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.

No Third-Party AI or Data Sharing

mooves does not send your data to any third-party artificial-intelligence service, cloud service, or external server. All movement analysis, beat detection, and scoring is performed by code running on your device. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, none is shared with any third party.

Children's Privacy

mooves does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, or delete — anything the app stores lives only on your own device and is removed when you uninstall it.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
