Frequently asked questions

How does mooves score my dancing?

mooves tracks your body movement frame by frame and detects the beat in the music you danced to. Your score combines how precisely your moves land on the beat with how much of the song you actively danced to.

Do my videos get uploaded anywhere?

No. Pose tracking and beat detection run entirely on your device. Your recordings stay on your phone unless you choose to share them yourself. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Why does mooves need camera and microphone access?

The camera captures your movement for pose tracking, and the microphone records the music so mooves can find the beat. Both are required to score a dance. You can grant or revoke these in your device settings at any time.

My score seems low — what can I do?

Make sure your whole body is visible in the frame, the lighting is good, and the music is clearly audible to the microphone. Standing too close to the camera or being partly out of frame can affect movement tracking.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?
