These terms and conditions apply to the mooves app (the "Application") for mobile devices, created by Klas Holmgren (the "Service Provider"). By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these terms. Please read them before using the Application.
Using the App
mooves lets you record or select a video of yourself dancing and provides an automated, on-device analysis of how your movement lines up with the music. The analysis is provided for fun and informational purposes and makes no guarantee of accuracy. mooves does not judge dance quality or skill — it measures timing and movement signals it can detect from your video.
Your Content
You keep all rights to the videos you analyze. Because the app processes everything on your device, the Service Provider never receives, stores, or has any access to your videos. You are responsible for the content you record and for having the right to record anyone who appears in it.
Intellectual Property
The Application itself, its design, and the mooves name and logo remain the property of the Service Provider. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, extract the source code of, or create derivative versions of the Application except where permitted by law.
Device Responsibility
You are responsible for your device and for keeping it secure. Jailbreaking or rooting your device may stop the Application from working correctly and may compromise its security. The Application runs on-device and does not require an internet connection to analyze a clip; standard data charges from your mobile provider may apply only when downloading the app or updates.
Third-Party Services
The Application is distributed via Google Play and uses Google's on-device ML Kit. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms:
Updates and Availability
The Service Provider may update, change, or discontinue the Application at any time, and may charge for the Application or its services with prior notice. You agree to accept updates when offered. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these terms end and you must stop using the Application.
Limitation of Liability
The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The Service Provider is not liable for any loss, direct or indirect, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Application.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the Application means you accept the updated terms.
